From Avignon TGV you are heading east to Goult in the direction of Apt, passing Coustellet on the way. The journey by car should be no longer than 60 mins.
On leaving the car hire car park at the TGV train station follow ‘Toutes Directions’ and head north on the Boulevard Pierre Boule for a few minutes before arriving at a roundabout where you take the 1st exit onto the Rocade Charles de Gaulle slip road to La Rocade Sud/Aéroport Avignon Sud (see map below).
Keep going straight on the Rocade Charles de Gaulle for about 5 mins until you reach a major junction where you turn right (see map below) on to the D907 (Avenue Pierre Semard) and away from the old walled town of Avignon. At this junction there will be signs for Avignon Sud, Aeroport, Cavaillon N7 & the A7.
Keep going straight on the D907 (Avenue Pierre Semard) which turns into the N7 before becoming the D900 as it crosses the motorway (A7). The river Durance will be on your right hand side (see map below).
Stay on the D900 heading east (direction Apt) and after about 20 minutes you will pass through Coustellet.
Continue on the D900 for another 10 minutes or so and when you pass an old lime green Citroen van advertising an olive mill on your right you’re are a few minutes away from the turning on the left towards the hamlet of Lumieres.
Take this left turn to Lumieres and drive 100m or so before turning left again towards Goult which is signposted and then take an immediate sharp right up the hill towards the village. You will pass a football pitch and tennis courts on your right and a school on your left where there is a traffic light to look out for. At the top of the hill there is a mini roundabout indicating the village on the left. However you will drive straight over on to the D145 (signposted Route D’Apt) and head down the hill for 500m until you see a brown sign for ‘Le Buisson’ on the left hand side. It’s about 100m after the 2nd road on the left.
Once you turn into the driveway there is a car park immediately to your left (which has space for 4 cars) with red rusty gates. If there isn’t enough room or its too tight then open the main gates when you can and park closer to the house.
