Le Buisson is a former Chambre d’Hote which the owners were lucky enough to be able to buy in October 2015. Between then and the summer of 2018 a complete renovation of the house, BBQ and pool areas has been undertaken. The result is a quite stunning holiday home set in a fabulous garden with dining areas for large groups as well as discrete seating areas for more privacy.
There are 6 air conditioned suites, all with showers, sinks and toilets and Suite 1 also has a bath. There are 4 suites in the main farmhouse and 2 in the annexe (originally the stables) in the garden at the rear which means the property can sleep 6 to 18 with up to 20 possible if the sofa beds are used in suites 2 & 4.
There is a good wifi signal throughout the property too.
If there are more than 12 people in your group then please study the floor plans and the picture gallery to get a more complete understanding of how the sleeping arrangements could work. A larger number could be accommodated with children or teenagers occupying the 2 alcove beds in suites 2 and 4 as these would not suit an adult.
Please also bear in mind that the mezzanine floors in suites 5 & 6 would not be suitable for young children or elderly people.
It should also be noted that, if there are elderly people and young children in your group, the stairs in the main house are all stone as is the floor downstairs. Moreover there is only one handrail on the side of the stairs nearer the bottom of the main staircase.
Another consideration with a large group (which the owners have hosted many times) is that the main dining table indoors seats a maximum of 12 - 14 people although the table in the entrance area between the kitchen and dining room/ front room can seat a further 4 people.
However dining is at its very best outside at the front of the house or in the charming BBQ area at the back where there are two large charcoal BBQs (one exclusively non meat). Both areas of the grounds can seat large numbers. There is also a smaller dining area by the pool.
