Kitchen

The kitchen has a large American style fridge as well as a wine fridge, dishwasher and microwave.  There is also a central breakfast bar that seats 4 on stools (with USB sockets underneath) and a lovely little alcove for 2 more people.

Laundry Room

The laundry room which backs onto the kitchen has another large fridge, a second dishwasher, 2 washing machines and a dryer.  There is also a retractable manual washing frame tucked into the ceiling. The recycling centre is here too.

Cool Room or Cave

This temperature controlled cave or ‘wine cellar’ backs onto the laundry room and keeps our eclectic collection of wines which you are welcome to dip into should guests partake of wine.  The rule is just to replace with similar types of wine typically no more that 7 euros a bottle.

If there are a lot of you then its also a good place to store fruit, vegetables and soft drinks etc.

Store Room

Opposite the main entrance is our store room where you’ll find the iron and ironing board as well as all the sports equipment which you are welcome to borrow which include footballs, basketballs, a boules set (there is an area to play in near the entrance), tennis rackets, tennis balls, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks plus a portable net.  

You’ll also find the doors to the oil heater (no need to go in there) and a door to the fuse boxes (highly unlikely to need to go there).  

Front Room/ Dining Room

The dining table seats 12 - 14 and there is also a table and 4 chairs in the main entrance area which we use when seating larger numbers although the vast majority of our eating has been outside over the years either in the front under the lovely plane tree or at the BBQ area at the back where there is plenty of seating room.

There is a smart TV, Blu-ray/ DVD player & Xbox (with Fifa 16).

There is also a toilet by the entrance to the table tennis room.

Table Tennis Room

There is a beautiful vaulted room in the corner which acts as our table tennis room.  There is comfortable seating around the edges and another TV. This has been the kids and teenagers favourite hangout over the years when indoors.

Games room

At the back is the Games Room which offers further seating options and has a large original fireplace (not in use).  

There is a games cupboard with a good selection of traditional board games from Monopoly, Cluedo & Risk to Scrabble, Chess, Draughts and many more.

There is also an extensive collection of DVD’s and some Blu-Ray discs (mainly PG’s & 12’s plus some 15’s)
